Collaboration Kiku-Salter MkII Ltd Edition Collectible knife blade made exclusively for Salter Fine Cutlery

Currently in production, this new Salter-Kiku collaboration Artist Series collectible knife will be a one-of-a-kind prized addition to any knife enthusiast.

There have only been 4 of these blades made by the hand of famed knife maker and one of the world's premier grinding specialists, Kiku Matsuda. Made exclusively by Kiku for Salter Fine Cutlery, each knife will be created with a different artistic vision.

This MkII Limited Edition knife will feature a decorative handle containing design elements of rare curly koa wood, Mozambique ebony, stainless steel and nickel-silver. It will include a curly koa wood display stand.

Collaboration Salter-Kiku MkII Limited Edition 210mm blade made exclusively for Salter Fine Cutlery

Not just a pretty face, the knife is extremely well made of OU-31 steel by Kiku of Japan and features his unique design pattern in a matte finish. The blade is very heavy duty and can be used as a razor sharp and heavy duty kitchen, camp, or outdoorsman's knife.

To guard against slipping, Kiku has added finger notches along the top of the blade like you would find in a tactical knife. However, the blade has been designed to work equally well as a heavy-duty chef's knife with an excellent rocking motion.

Knife Specs:

  • Blade Length: Approximately 8-1/4" (210mm)
  • Blade Edge: Appleseed grind, (convex) like that used on Japanese swords. Super strong, incredibly sharp.
  • Blade Thickness at widest point: 5mm
  • Handle Length: Approximately 5-1/16 inches (130mm)
  • Overall Length:Approximately 14-1/8 inches (360mm)

This knife will be ready soon. Construction is complete and the knife has just started final sealer applications and handle finishing.

If you are a collector or are looking for a luxury gift for any knife lover that will be equally at home displayed in a man cave, living room, or even a kitchen, contact us for pricing and more information.
