Each blade is made from a single, solid piece of steel by an 8th generation knife maker in Japan to our own unique designs. This bladesmith makes every knife individually and completely by his own hand. He uses top, high-quality R2 and SRS13 stainless steels known around the world for their exceptional quality, and makes his own billets from bar stock. This results in knives that are not flimsy and are of the highest quality.
