About Hawaiian curly koa wood:
- A lightweight hardwood=comfortable to use and carry, yet durable
- Extremely beautiful. Stripes & feature change with lighting and angle of view
- Rare: grows ONLY in Hawaii
- All our curly koa wood has been legally harvested
- We use reclaimed, kiln-dried curly koa wood for all our canes
About our handle design:
Our design features a flat or rounded dual-sided grip with a sleek handle designed for comfort that can be turned around to provide the added support of a full palm rest when needed.
About the shaft:
- Choose your preferred overall length
- Solid koa wood, no veneers
- One inch diameter unless otherwise requested
- Choose a more narrow shaft for a lightweight or travel cane
- Choose smooth rounded near handle or all octagonal faceted shaft shape
- Includes heavy duty rubber removable rubber tip
What about Decorative Accents:
Mozambique ebony (aka African blackwood) tips add a decorative touch that also serves to protect the handle from dings and chips.
Personalize your cane with a wide range of decorative colored accent spacers between the staff and handle.
Color selection will be confirmed during our Order Review process.
Hiking-grade tips or tips with metal ferrules are available upon request; please contact us for a quote.

For a lightweight or more slender travel cane, we can make your handle and shaft thinner and with a smaller diameter.
When only a little extra balance is needed, a lighter and smaller travel cane is a great accessory when walking.
