The set is a unique collaboration between 2 artists; the bladesmith in Japan and Gregg Salter, the woodworker and artist who creates all the handles, boxes and stands completely by his own handwork. 

This unique new steak knife set features our popular R2 stainless steel 'Raptor' hammered series with 127mm (approx 5 inch) solid full-tang blades.

Each blade has been individually hand-forged to our own design specifications solely for Salter Fine Cutlery by our master bladesmith in Japan. Every blade has been signed in kanji. 

The set contains four 2-pc sets. Entertain by letting each couple or guest choose their preferred knife or change up your tableware to fit your meal, tableware, or your mood.

We have created this set to feature a range of exotic woods and bolster options as shown below:

• A pair with nickel-silver bolsters and padauk wood handles
• A pair with brass bolsters and wenge wood handles
• A pair with long ebony bolsters and bubinga wood handles

Set includes a beautiful handmade curly Hawaiian koa wood presentation box with upgrade 5A rare koa wood, black velvet liners, recessed solid brass stop hinges, and antique brass swing latch.
