In today's blog, I thought I would chat more about how to place a custom steak knife set order.
We specialize in creating one-of-a-kind knives and sets to fit your tastes, kitchen or dining table. Every piece is made completely by hand and we offer several options.
Here is how to keep your order from being overwhelming, and fun both to order and to insure you are getting a set that you will enjoy and can pass down to future generations.
First, take a look at our blade options, by visiting this page:
Steak Knife Sets-Blade Options
Second, visit our Configurations page. Look only at handle shapes and decorative accents to decide what you like best.
Let me know what you like or copy/paste photos of what you like, call or email and you are almost done. I will have some questions for other options which you can choose yourself or just say "Artist Choice" and we will do the rest.
Here is an example of a set we just finished making, and all of the options chosen in this set by our client:
Blades: Charybdis whirlpool damascus pattern, 130mm Cattleman's style blades with full-tang design (don't worry, just say like this picture or just say Cattleman's with patterned blades and I will know what you mean)
Handles: Western style (full-tang). Stainless steel hand-contoured bolsters (the part between the blade and the wood handle), black/white accents and curly koa wood.
Presentation Box: 5A upgrade koa wood (or you can choose our normal curly presentation box wood, which is 3A and 4A and still looks great with lots of feature and striping or 'flames'), removable trays, velvet lining, latches
Here is a short video of our latest creation:
Any Questions? Just pick up the phone or send an email. We are ALWAYS happy to help make your shopping experience fun and simple.
