We are very excited about our recent trip to Japan. Not only did we get to see old friends and our current bladesmiths, but met a great new master smith as well as a fine young talent.
Announcing five new collectible blades by the famed Kiku Matsuda. We are proud to collaborate with him on these very special knives. Considered by many to be the finest knife grinder in the world, we know any collector of hunting or tactical knives will be impressed. Gregg will be making special colllector edition handles and boxes to compliment each knife. Reserve now as they are always in high demand!
Plus, Kiku will be making a very limited number of our exclusive limited edition combat chef knife blades. A new 2017 edition of this very rare Kiku collectible will also feature his trademark unique pattern and OU-31 steel, but will have a new finish look. Only 4 pieces will be made, so reserve yours now while still available. Again, Gregg will make a special edition handle and box to accompany each of these knives. We hope to have these blades in stock by the end of the year.
We have also ordered some other new amazing blades by some of the finest blade makers in Japan. Each of these is entirely handmade using traditional Japanese forging methods. Will keep you posted as we receive them!
