Beautifully protect your custom Salter Fine Cutlery carving or chef knife or set in one of our custom, handcrafted Hawaiian koa gift, keepsake, or presentation boxes. All finish sanding, waxing, and polishing processes are done entirely by hand without the use of any machines. Hours and hours of careful hand-work go into creating the deep luster and shimmer that makes our boxes so remarkable.

These are our premier gallery-quality boxes, made and finished to our highest standards with the most beautiful curly Hawaiian koa available. These are a beautiful addition to any home and make a perfect heirloom gift. Details include internally joined construction for a clean, smooth exterior, non-slip cork or optional brass feet, and a free-floating lid designed to resist shrinkage and provide lasting beauty. These boxes receive additional hand-processing to produce the most lustrous finish available in any of our boxes. Hand-waxed exterior sides and lid finishing.

Keepsake Box

Like our presentation boxes, our keepsake boxes are made completely by hand to our exacting standards and have a gorgeous sheen. To provide a beautiful appearance with a more affordable price, the solid Hawaiian koa sides are slightly thinner than our presentation boxes, and the free-floating lid is made with mixed curly koa wood, or your choice of other Hawaiian woods Oiled finish throughout interior and exterior areas.

Non-slip cork feet.

Small brass exterior hinges stop open at 95 degrees.

Smooth exterior corners feature decorative inserts of Mozambique ebony, koa, or Hawaiian mango.

Gift Box

Gift boxes are our most affordable option for a beautiful, handcrafted box to store and protect your knives. They are constructed with solid but thin-walled sides of Hawaiian hardwoods. The lids are free-floating and made with an attractive hardwood veneer  ply. Each box has an oiled finish to a light luster, and is a lovely addition to any gift set.

Pricing on this page is for boxes purchased in combination with our chef knives or individual carving knives and forks.

One and Two Knife prices shown are for chef or carving knives. For small steak knife sets, please inquire for pricing.
