5-Tier Presentation Pen Box

This exceptional collectible pens display box will make a very unique statement for any collector of fine pens. It was specifically designed to house 50 pens of various lengths and widths on removable internal trays for our client.

These trays could easily be transferred to his safe deposit box when he is away.

Completely handcrafted  from exotic and rare curly Hawaiian koa wood from our workshop on the Big Island of Hawaii, this box features a laminated 1/8" glass top framed beautifully in exotic highly featured wood. The glass will resist shattering. It can also be easily replaced at any future date as the frame can be disassembled and reassembled with a small screwdriver.

Inside, lies a custom curly koa wood removable tray under the glass lid, plus 4 more removable trays within the 4 drawers. The trays can be placed wholly with the pens in a safe for secure storage when desired.

The box holds 50 pens.  4 removable sliding drawers hold 11 pens each. A top display holds 6 pens. The pens can be easily and quickly changed from display to one of the storage drawers.

Several exotic woods were used in the making of the box. All exterior sections and trays are made from Hawaiian old-growth 5A exhibition grade curly koa wood. Exterior accents are made from wenge wood. Drawer handles are sustainably sourced Mozambique ebony. Pen holders are Bermuda cedar. 

Solid brass USA made high quality stop hinges hold the lid open at a  95 degree angle.

This impressive box has outside approximate dimensions of  14" x 14" x 12", 

The box itself creates an impressive display piece that will last a lifetime and has the appearance of a very old antique, immaculately maintained because the wood used was itself quite old reclaimed curly koa wood.

The box has a deep hand-rubbed waxed finish and is easily maintained.
