2-piece "Charybdis" whirlpool damascus Carving Set in Presentation Box

From our 'Charybdis' Collectible cutlery line, we present this special artist-series 2-piece carving set in a matching presentation box. This set is truly a one-of-a-kind, unique piece of functional art meant to be used and passed to future generations.

Custom designed, this carving set is made from high quality Japanese cutlery steel.

Included is an individually hand-forged 270mm clip-point designed knife and matching fork with sharp, flared tines.

This carving set has full-tang construction with each piece forged from a solid bar of steel. There are no welded sections like you find in many production knives.

Every detail of the knife and fork has been custom designed by Salter Fine Cutlery, then individually created by a master blacksmith in Japan using traditional Japanese forging methods.

The custom finish of the carving knife and fork was created in Japan by an 8th generation sword maker to our own Salter Fine Cutlery proprietary design. It is amazing in its beautiful whirlpool damascus pattern finish. Each small whirlpool was individually created by hand!

Our custom handles were created on the Big Island of Hawaii. Completely handcrafted, they feature exotic and rare super curly Hawaiian koa wood, nickel-silver bolster and butt bolster, plus a Mozambique ebony insert attractively surrounded by black and white accents. 

This set includes a matching exotic Hawaiian curly koa wood presentation box handcrafted by the artist-owner of Salter Fine Cutlery.
